Arizona Secretary of State: Fontes leads Finchem

PHOENIX — Arizona voters were rejecting Republican election denier Mark Finchem for secretary of state in favor of Democrat Adrian Fontes early Wednesday morning

With 91% of precincts reporting, Fontes led 52.9% percent to 47.1%.

All this comes as Arizonans are deciding whether to choose someone who had administered an election or someone who claims the results were fraudulent to be the state’s top election official -- and first in line for governor if the incumbent leaves office.
