As Arizona COVID-19 cases reported continue to show downward trends, sectors of the economy are beginning to reopen albeit with strict occupancy rules, which restaurant owners and industry experts say is creating a seismic shift in operations.
“We are in a better place than we were in March or April of this year,” said Arizona Restaurant Association President and CEO Steve Chucri. “Is this what we have come to expect? No.”
In February, Mr. Chucri recalls when the Arizona restaurant industry was on the precipice of a historic year in terms of sector growth and overall sales.
