ADOT official offers road travel safety tips for motorists

Finally, a little relief arrived this week with the start of monsoon season, bringing with it rising humidity and thunderstorms across much of the state.

While the moisture could improve air quality and quell the state’s raging wildfire season, transportation officials are warning Arizona motorists to plan ahead and stay safe.

After some weekend storm activity, experts at AccuWeather yesterday explained there’s more to come, though the desired rains can also bring risks.
