Arizona mayors come for Airbnb, Expedia CEOs in fight against short-term rentals

Letter calls out ‘unsustainable’ business practice 1 day before Airbnb stock sale

Editor's Note: On Dec. 10, Tucson Mayor Regina Romero and Gilbert Mayor Scott Anderson signed the letter, joining 30 other Arizona mayors. 

Thirty of Arizona’s mayors banded together in an effort to confront Airbnb and Expedia CEOs about the short-term rental homes they believe are tearing their communities apart.

Paradise Valley Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner and Scottsdale Mayor-elect Dave Ortega were among the group.
