Arizona LD 27 Senate GOP candidates miss finance filing deadline

The one competitive primary race in Arizona Legislative District 27 features one current and one former state senator from the Republican Party — both of whom are delinquent in filing their campaign finance reports.

Reports for the first quarter of 2026, which is from Jan. 1 to March 31, were due April 15.

Current Senator Kevin Payne is squaring off with his predecessor Anthony Kern in the July 21 primary.
