Arizona may not be in the top half of states in metrics according to a new U.S. News & World Report, but it is showing some signs of improvement.
The Grand Canyon State ranked as 32nd-best in the nation, but that ranking is up five spots from where it was last year, according to the study released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report.
The rankings are based on eight categories, each weighted differently: health care, education, economy, infrastructure, opportunity, fiscal stability, crime & corrections and natural environment.
