Arizona Helping Hands announced Wednesday it had received a $100,000 grant from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, which will go toward assisting the non-profit in underwriting the Licensing Safety Program over the next year.
The program provides free items such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, outlet covers and magnetic locks to AHH’s foster families so they can be licensed by the state to care for children, according to a news release from the organization.
