Arizona Financial grant program open to Glendale nonprofits

Posted

Arizona Financial Credit Union has opened the grant application process for its Local Causes program, which is available for local nonprofits.

In this grant cycle, Arizona Financial will be awarding $40,000 in total gifts to deserving nonprofits. The application deadline is Friday, June 30.

Arizona Financial’s Glendale branch is located at 5485 W. Northern Ave.

This program exclusively supports hyper-local nonprofits with an operating budget under $2 million and who focus on education, equality/social inclusion, community services, children and youth, and/or sustainability. Since its launch in August 2020, the Local Causes grant program has provided over $150,000 to more than 60 unique nonprofits.

“We have learned so much about the nonprofits that make up the fabric of the communities we serve, all doing great work to serve specific needs,” Arizona Financial President and CEO Amy Hysell shared in a news release. “For that we applaud them and are proud to be a small part of their greater purpose.”

Applications are open through June 30 with grant awards presented later this summer.

Visit Arizona/Financial.org/Giveback for more information or to apply.
