Higher education is alive and well in Arizona, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

The annual report was published Monday, ranking colleges and universities across the country in a multitude of categories, from their diversity to their degree programs. Several Arizona colleges and universities made the list.

On the list of Top Public Universities, Tempe’s Arizona State University clocked in the 54th spot, bested by its rival to the south, Tucson’s University of Arizona, which took the 46th slot.
