Titan CEO and sponsors, Class VI Partners and Wipfli LLP, along with the entire staff of Arizona Charter Academy, recently announced school CEO Melissa Holdaway as a 2022 Phoenix Titan 100.

The Titan 100 program recognizes Phoenix’s Top 100 CEOs and C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that includes demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision and passion. This year’s honorees will be honored at an awards ceremony Sept. 29.

“The Titan 100 are shaping the future of the Phoenix business community by building a distinguished reputation that is unrivaled and preeminent in their field. We proudly recognize the Titan 100 for their successes and contributions. We know that they will have a profound impact that makes an extraordinary difference for their customers and clients across the nation.” stated Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO, in a news release.

Holdaway stated she was honored and humbled to learn she was named as a 2022 Phoenix Titan 100. While she is proud of her work as CEO at Arizona Charter Academy, Holdaway said it is a team effort and credits Chief Academic Officer Heather Henderson and the entire staff for the incredible heart they put into the education of their students and the overall success of the school.

“At Arizona Charter Academy, our staff culture is extremely important, and I am pleased that we have been able to build a team of teachers and administrators that have had a profound and positive impact on both the students and the community,” Holdaway stated.

She also said that she also feels it is crucial to have a diverse group of staff that represents each and every one of the school’s 1,000-plus students.

“I’m very proud that Arizona Charter Academy represents a Title 1 school that is truly making a difference by focusing on closing learning gaps and showing every day that all students can succeed,” Holdaway stated.

“On behalf of all the partners and associates at Wipfli we congratulate all the Titan 100 winners. It’s an honor to recognize this diverse group of leaders in the Phoenix community. We appreciate the lasting impact each leader has made, and continues to make, in building organizations of significance both here in Arizona and abroad. Your ingenuity and creativity have set you apart, and the honor of being seen as an industry Titan is richly deserved,” stated Michael Vaccarella, Partner at Wipfli.

The K-8 charter school primarily serves students from Surprise, El Mirage and Youngtown.

“Congratulations to all Titan 100 honorees. We are so proud to be affiliated with the Titan 100 program that recognizes exceptional leadership and true diversity within the Phoenix business community. The leaders and industries selected are proof that the Phoenix Titan 100 are positively impacting the entire Arizona market,” stated David C. Tolson, managing director at Class VI Partners.
