Arizona boosts career paths for students with new tool

A new tool will allow Arizona students to gain access to important career development information before heading off to higher education.

The Arizona Department of Education, in partnership with Pipeline AZ — a career development and job skills exploration platform — has launched My Future AZ and it’s in use by students across the state and Maricopa County as of Aug. 31.

The tool offers students the chance to learn about new industries and fields, and about what they need to do to get there. My Future AZ will replace the previous standardized tool that was in use for the Education and Career Action Plan, which was instituted in 2008 by the Arizona State Board of Education.
