From a 5-year-old cowgirl to a cowboy in his 60s, the Arizona Black Rodeo featured competitors in bull riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, steer undecorating, ladies barrel racing, relay racing and more entertainment to a sold-out crowd.
More than 5,000 people attended, many of whom were dressed in fashionable Western regalia fit for the Sept. 2-3 rodeo shows at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road.
Noting a standing-room-only Saturday attendance, Lanette Campbell, Arizona Black Rodeo founder/coordinator, thanked people for their “overwhelming support” of the Arizona Black Rodeo.
