Arizona at 19,487 deaths of COVID-19

Arizona has added 2,742 cases and 108 deaths of COVID-19 overnight, according to the state Department of Health Services.

As of the morning of Saturday, Sept. 18, the ADHS reports 1,064,346 known positive cases and 19,487 known deaths of the coronavirus.

  • Cochise County: 313
  • Coconino County: 345
  • Gila County: 251
  • Graham County: 97
  • Greenlee County: 15
  • La Paz County: 86
  • Maricopa County: 11,198
  • Mohave County: 899
  • Navajo County: 588
  • Pima County: 2,570
  • Pinal County: 979
  • Santa Cruz County: 188
  • Yavapai County: 615
  • Yuma County: 881

For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. But for some — especially older adults and people with existing health problems — it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia, and death.
