Arizona at 17,838 deaths of COVID-19

Arizona has added 641 cases and 16 deaths of COVID-19 overnight, according to the state Department of Health Services.

As of the morning of Saturday, June 19, the ADHS reports 889,342 positive cases and 17,838 deaths of the coronavirus.

  • Gila County: 229
  • Graham County: 84
  • Greenlee County: 10
  • La Paz County: 78
  • Maricopa County: 10,219
  • Mohave County: 746
  • Navajo County: 550
  • Pima County: 2,420
  • Pinal County: 901
  • Santa Cruz County: 180
  • Yavapai County: 521
  • Yuma County: 847

For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. But for some — especially older adults and people with existing health problems — it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia, and death.
