Ardra Esther Barbee

Sept. 15, 1929 - Jan. 28, 2016 ARLINGTON, Wash. - A very special lady has gone to be with our Lord in heaven. Ardra "Ardie" Lablond Barbee passed away peacefully with her family in Arlington, Wash. and will be laid to rest in Zillah, Wash. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., she enjoyed many years teaching special education. She resided in Suprise, Ariz. for 15 years. Ardra volunteered at Del Webb Medical Hospital in Sun City, Ariz. until last summer. She is survived by her children, Nikki Steneide Pelley, Mark & Alpha Steneide; and a stepson, Dr. David & Diana Barbee; grandchildren, Shannon Pelley Sheckler, Jesse Pelley, Kyle Steneide, Kayla Van Skyhawk, Ruth Barbee & Abbie Shirey; and four great grandchildren, as well as many friends and other family members. She was loved by so many and gave so much love to those she met. There will be a celebration of life in early May 2016.
