The Automotive/Restoration Club of Sun City West put it in gear for the holiday season by decorating the green classic pickup truck that resides in front of the ARC building, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd., building B.
Residents are invited to stop by and take a free picture with Santa and the truck, a 1931 AA Ford Service Stake Truck that was donated to ARC by Ron and Joyce Rada. When received, it was in desperate need of restoration. Darrell Langer headed up the restoration in late 2020. ARC members restored it, and it is the official ARC Angel vehicle.
ARC Angels is a segment of the ARC members who assist others with questions or concerns about their car. Their tag line is, “They don’t have halos or wings, but they are here to help those in need.” The doors of the AA have the ARC Angels insignia.
