The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona has announced the return of the Arabian National Breeder Finals at the Equidome of WestWorld in Scottsdale.

The show will run from Wednesday, Sept. 14, to Saturday, Sept. 17, and will showcase the best the breed has to offer in an unparalleled venue.

Inspired by the passion for the Arabian horse, the Arabian National Breeder Finals is a show that offers a stage for the Arabian Horse to compete, according to a press release. The focus for this year’s event will be to roll out an outstanding halter/breeding showcase that will offer prize money, prestige, and opportunities for breeders and Arabian horse enthusiasts.

With up to 300 horses competing, this special event is like the Westminster of the horse industry, the press release stated.

“We are excited to host the 2022 Arabian National Breeder Finals again this year and welcome the international Arabian community and enthusiasts alike back,” said Taryl O’Shea, executive director of the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona. “This event is a boutique-style horse competition, that will include breeding and performance competitions. If you’ve never seen an Arabian horse, this is a wonderful opportunity, that will entertain both longtime fans and those who are new to the horse arena.”

The Arabian National Breeder Finals competition consists of a series of different performances, called classes, where some of the best Arabian and halter horses in the world will compete for a $100,000 prize money and the coveted title of finals champion. The largest prize money payout in the Arabian industry for one-year-old (yearling horses) will be awarded at this show.

A 50-50 raffle will be held throughout the show so you can win big, 50% of the proceeds will go to the lucky ticket holder and the rest will go to the Champions and Reserve Champion in the Weanling AOTH class.

The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona is proud to benefit these worthwhile charities: Arabian Horsemen’s Distress Fund, Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Healing Hearts, Horses Help, March of Dimes, Scottsdale Rotary, Scottsdale Community College Equine Science and Youth For Troops.

The four-day event will also feature exhibitors selling jewelry, clothing, and equestrian artwork as well as food and drink. The Arabian National Breeder Finals will be at the Equidome at WestWorld, located at 16601 N. Pima Road, in Scottsdale. Admission is free.
