APS expected to file for rate increase request

Arizona's largest utility is planning to ask for another rate increase.

Arizona Public Service Co. is expected to file a notice of intent with the Arizona Corporation Commission where its customers will see an eventual rate hike, according to company spokeswoman Ann Porter.

The notice of intent is expected to be filed next month — "on or after" June 13, the spokesperson said.
