Applicants sought for Mesa advisory boards, committees

Mesa residents are invited and encouraged to participate in the process of local government by serving on the city’s volunteer advisory boards and committees.
The city of Mesa seeks the knowledge and experience of its residents to advise, inform, and make recommendations to city leadership and City Council on policies and services, according to a release.
Recruitment for advisory boards and committees is ongoing. All appointments to the boards are recommended by the mayor and approved by City Council.
The following boards are seeking applicants:
• Board of Adjustment
• Design Review Board
• Historic Preservation Board
• Housing and Community Development Advisory Board
• Human Relations Advisory Board
• Library Advisory Board
• Museum and Cultural Advisory Board
• Parks and Recreation Board
• Personnel Appeals Board
• Planning and Zoning Board
• Transportation Advisory Board
Applications for all advisory boards and committees are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
