Apple quickly adjusts Siri’s response to terrorist question

Surprise police officer upset with initial response

Fred Cuthbertson was not happy when a fellow police officer shared Apple’s voice talk assistant, Siri, answered a question about terrorists by directing users to police departments.

The question to Siri, “Where are terrorists located?”  The answer ranged from a list of police departments located in Maricopa County, including Peoria and Surprise. While the locations were given to the police stations, Siri also reminded users the emergency contact number.

Another police officer alerted the Independent noting, “It pulls up every police department as terrorists.”
