Bruce Willis’ diagnosis relates to many in Arizona

Some older Valley residents may be able to relate a little to closely to one of America’s movie stars and action heroes in Bruce Willis.

Willis — famous for his role in Die Hard movies— is stepping away from acting due to suffering from aphasia, it was recently reported.

Aphasia is where language impairments get worse over time because of changes in the brain, according to Corianne Rogalsky, associate professor with the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University who has a doctorate in neuroscience.
