A driveway may be relocated and a conditional use permit amended at a planned wedding venue and event center north of Old West Highway between South Cortez and South Starr roads, the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission decided recently.
The commission voted unanimously July 13 to approve the amended permit with a change that all required trees in a 10-foot deep strip along Starr Road be one-half 24-inch-box size and the remainder 15-gallon plants.
Becoming One Properties LLC on Aug. 10, 2021, was granted a conditional use permit for an event center with an allowance for outdoor activities, according to a written staff report.
