In an effort to recruit top candidates for numerous job positions, Apache Junction Unified School District is hosting job fairs 8:30-11 a.m. Feb. 11, March 20 and April 1 at the AJUSD District Office, 1575 W. Southern Ave. in Apache Junction.
Positions include elementary school teaching positions in kindergarten through fifth grade; math, science and English language arts for sixth through eighth grades; special education positions for kindergarten through 12th grade; and for school psychologists, speech language pathologists and more.
Openings are also available in food services, custodial, transportation, paraprofessionals and for substitute teachers.
“Every person employed in our district — whether they are teachers or support staff — has the ability to make a positive impact on the well being of our students,” Heather Wallace, district superintendent, said in a release. “If you, or someone you know, is interested in a position with us, please spread the word about this job fair and consider the advantage of becoming a part of the AJUSD family.”
AJUSD emphasizes a well-rounded education where academics, sports and extracurricular activities allow students to grow scholastically, physically and emotionally. Registration for all new students who wish to enroll in Apache Junction Unified School District schools is being accepted at all school locations.
