In an effort to recruit top candidates for numerous job positions, Apache Junction Unified School District is hosting job fairs 8:30-11 a.m. April 1 at the AJUSD District Office, 1575 W. Southern Ave. in Apache Junction.

Positions include elementary school teaching positions in kindergarten through fifth grade; math, science and English language arts for sixth through eighth grades; special education positions for kindergarten through 12th grade; and for school psychologists, speech language pathologists and more.

Openings are also available in food services, custodial, transportation, paraprofessionals and for substitute teachers.

“Every person employed in our district — whether they are teachers or support staff — has the ability to make a positive impact on the well being of our students,” Heather Wallace, district superintendent, said in a release. “If you, or someone you know, is interested in a position with us, please spread the word about this job fair and consider the advantage of becoming a part of the AJUSD family.”

AJUSD emphasizes a well-rounded education where academics, sports and extracurricular activities allow students to grow scholastically, physically and emotionally.
