Apache Junction reconstructing, paving San Marcos Drive

The city of Apache Junction will be reconstructing and paving San Marcos Drive from Broadway Avenue to 10th Avenue Jan. 11-21.

The work originally scheduled for December has been rescheduled, according to a release.

The work calls for a closure of San Marcos from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Thursday during this time frame; no closure is planned over the nighttime hours or weekends.

Access to residences will be maintained. San Marcos traffic will be detoured onto Broadway or 12th Avenue to Ironwood Drive.
