Cleaning Apache Junction’s first police substation will cost the city $1,200 a month under a recently approved contract.
Council on Nov. 21 voted unanimously on a retroactive approval of the third amendment with JB Superior Maintenance Services LLC to add janitorial services for the police substation at 3880 S. De Niza Road, increasing the cost from $300,000 to $328,800.
The city of Apache Junction entered into a two-year lease of a 1,400-square-foot modular office building with Blackbeard Capital LLC on Sept. 1. It began Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30, 2025, according to a lease document.
