Apache Junction police seek to purchase 4 aerial drones for $72K

Purchasing four drones costing more than $72,000 for the Apache Junction Police Department will be considered at the city council’s Nov. 7 meeting.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.

The $72,638,81 contract with Gresco Supply Inc. would purchase one DJI Matrice 30 Thermal drone, two DJI Mavic 3 Thermal drones and one DJI Matrice 350 drone and accessories available through a state cooperative contract.
