Apache Junction Mud Run returns in October

The 10th Apache Junction Mud Run will take place on Oct. 21 at the rodeo grounds, , 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd.

The obstacles created for the Mud Run are age-appropriate in their distances, challenges and safety, organizers of the event said in a release.

It begins at 9:30 a.m., but participants are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before their event.

Day-of registration begins at 8:30. The cost is $10 per person if registered by Sept. 30. Adult prices will increase to $20 on Oct. 1 and $25 on race day. Youth prices will remain $10, according to the release.
