The Apache Junction Mounted Rangers on Feb. 5 presented a check for $1,000 to Penny Brumbaugh, supervisory librarian for youth services at the Apache Junction Public Library.
The Apache Junction Mounted Rangers is a local group that acts as a peacekeeping group. It supports organizations by raising funds at events such as the Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo. They’ve donated all the proceeds to local groups such as the Boys and Girls Club, Superstition Fire and Medical District and the Lost Dutchman Days Royalty Project.
The Apache Junction Mounted Rangers are always looking for new volunteers and charitable organizations to donate to. Go to ajmountedrangers.org.
