A marijuana cultivation and infusion kitchen can continue to operate at 1575 E. 18th Ave. under new ownership, the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission decided recently.
The commissioned voted 6-1 on Oct. 12 to approve a conditional use permit for the new owner, Michael Roth of R&J Green Investments LLC, to operate a business on the industrial-zoned property, with Commissioner Richard Cantwell dissenting.
The permit is to continue the use of the existing marijuana cultivation and infusion facilities under new ownership or management, Staff Planner Nicholas Leftwich said to the commission.
