Apache Junction man sentenced to life in prison for murder of wife

An Apache Junction man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife.

Pinal County Superior Court Judge Daniel Washburn on March 22 sentenced Carl Hansen, 33, to natural life in prison, according to a release from the Pinal County Attorney’s Office.

Earlier this year, a jury found Hansen guilty of first degree murder, a class 1 felony.
