Apache Junction library parking lot restricted May 15-26

The parking lots for the Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, and Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road, will be restricted May 15-26 as construction begins on additional office space for the MGC.
The MGC will be adding much-needed office space and building an upstairs deck that will have classes after completion in 2024, according to a release.
The construction area is fenced off and visitors may hear construction while visiting the MGC.
This month there will be sewer line work, which will require the closure of the roundabout directly in front of the MGC.
The Americans with Disabilities Act dropoff will be temporarily moved to the sidewalk, just south of the main entrance. The northeast parking lot will be closed.
Library patrons are asked to park in the lot just west of the library building or south of the park.
