Apache Junction general election results approved

Declaring and adopting the results of the Nov. 3 general election was approved recently by the Apache Junction City Council.

A resolution was approved in a unanimous vote in a consent agenda with other items Dec. 1.

The election returns for the office of mayor have been counted by both Maricopa and Pinal counties and are available for the canvass, according to the resolution.
