The Apache Junction Water District’s latest drinking water quality report shows it turned in a sample late in the first quarter of 2022 for arsenic and inorganic chemicals and that the water meets all drinking water standards.
According to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, the violation was for Jan. 1-March 31, 2022.
“We failed to test our drinking water for the contaminant and period indicated. Because of this failure, we cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during the period indicated,” according to a regulation-compliant consumer confidence report generated at azdeq.gov.
