Allowing carports to be constructed with zero setbacks in certain Apache Junction single-family areas is to be discussed Monday by the City Council.
The work session begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
A code compliance complaint recently was made on a Superstition Villa subdivision resident who had an unpermitted shade structure in front of the home to the edge of the right-of-way and to the side property line, Planning Manager Rudy Esquivias said in a memo to the City Council.
