Antonio "Tony" Lepore

Posted
On September 16, 2022 Antonio “Tony” Lepore age 93 of Sun City, Arizona entered into eternal life. Born November 26, 1928 to Angelina and Joseph Lepore, he often shared cherished childhood memories of farm life in rural Pontecorvo, Italy. Immigrating to the United States in 1947, Tony began working in New Jersey for Public Service Electric and Gas as a laborer. After 15 years of working outside digging gas lines with a “pick and shovel” he rose to the level of management, obtaining a company car and pager! Upon retirement in 1988, Tony enthusiastically moved to Sun City. where he could garden and grow fruit trees all year long! He soon became very involved with the Sun City Garden Club, donating thousands of pounds of healthy fruits and vegetables to the Food Bank each year. His passion for wine brought him to Wilcox, Az. (before it was a wine mecca) where he planted acres of grapes to make “sulfite-free” wine, sharing gallons of homemade wine with friends and family year after year. Tony loved life and living in Sun City! He never said good-bye only “Happy Day!” Please join in a final farewell Thursday, March 2 at 10 am at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Sun City for a Mass of Christian Burial.
