SUN CITY WEST - Anthony J Perna, 90, formerly of Sun City West died Feb. 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Tillie Perna of Peoria; and daughter, Janet Solanik of Scottsdale. Anthony was born in Philadelphia and lived in New Jersey until moving to Arizona in 1991. He served in World War II in the Army and was stationed in France during that war. He received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for wounds in combat. Services were held Tuesday, March 6, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
