New $3.5 million water project not expected to dent Anthem traffic

Anthem motorists could see moderate traffic delays along 45th Avenue as crews start work on a new water infrastructure project meant to ensure residents don’t have a hiccup to their water supply.

The project, which began March 1, is slated to upgrade the community’s existing water booster station to help maintain water pressure to area residents.

The project is just west of Opportunity Way near the Desert Foothills housing development. Construction is set to be completed in May 2022.
