Anthem to host Winter in the Park in north Phoenix

Celebrate the holiday season at Winter in the Park in north Phoenix.

Anthem residents are invited to enjoy a holiday-themed evening featuring live music, food trucks, local holiday gifts, and family-friendly activities. The event goes from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Community Park, 41703 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway.

Guests can purchase a North Pole Pass for $10, which grants access to experiences like a train ride on the Daisy Mountain Railroad, a gingerbread house craft station, and photos with Santa Claus. The event also includes a free ornament decorating station, face painting, and live music by Liars Who Lie.

Local vendors will offer holiday gifts, and raffle prizes will be available for attendees who make purchases from crafter booths.

Food trucks scheduled to appear include Mi Amor Wood Fired Pizza and Big Brotha BBQ, AZ Sweet Peas, and Uniquely Frosted.

Parking will be available at multiple on-site lots, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and personal chairs for comfort.
