Anthem Speakeasy set to open this month

The worst kept secret is coming to Anthem.

That mantra is something the owner hopes comes true as Anthem’s first speakeasy is expected to open the second week in April as a soft opening. The restaurant expects to be fully operational by the end of May.

Keith Walashek, co-owner of the Bearded Barber, wants people from across the Valley to come and experience the 1920s-style speakeasy, which comes complete with a secret door to allow patrons to go from the barbershop to the dining/bar area.
