Democrats held an early campaign rally Sunday as one local representative and two others came to downtown Phoenix to get a start on the 2026 election cycle.
On a blistering 112-degree day U.S. House Rep. Yassamin Ansari, D- Ariz., hosted Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, and Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., at the Sunday rally.
The trio spoke to a few hundred attendees sought to instill hope they could flip the House to a Democratic majority. It was largely an event to kick off the 2026 campaign season in Arizona.
