The city of Peoria may have landed another post-fab service provider as part of the burgeoning semiconductor supply chain forming in the north Valley.
Phoenix-based Hyperion Technologies has announced plans to build a 600,000-square-foot, high-volume semiconductor substrate manufacturing facility on 45 acres in the Vistancia area of north Peoria, according to the company’s website.
Peoria Independent has reached out to the city and the company, but neither has returned with a statement. The company’s website did not identify the exact site of the proposed project.
