Annual successes recorded across Tempe’s education, family services programs

Tempe’s Workforce Readiness and Livable Communities Committee met Aug. 28 to discuss the latest updates from the city’s Office of Education, Career and Family Services about what’s been accomplished in its many programs during the last year.

The committee, led by Council Members Berdetta Hodge and Randy Keating, serves as a way for city staff and other community stakeholders to introduce and explore different topics that the council members can then bring to city council discussions.

During its Aug. 28 meeting, Naomi Farrell, Marie Raymond and Cynthia Garcia of the Education, Career and Family Services office presented updates to the different programs that their office oversees.
