Annual SCW karaoke variety show date set

The Karaoke Club of SCW announced its annual Variety Dinner Show will take place on Saturday, March 3. "Live on Saturday Night" promises to be a gala evening at the club’s new venue, Palm Ridge Summit Hall, 13800 W. Deer Valley Dr.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the first act beginning at 5:30. Dinner will be served about 6:15 and the final act follows at 7.
Tickets cost $22 per person. Reservations opened onJan. 12, and are available by calling Byron at 719-291-0379 or downloading a reservation form at the club website at Karaoke.scwclubs.com .
The new start time for Karaoke Club is 6 p.m. on Fridays, when the Ocotillo cardroom at Beardsley Park is transformed into a nightclub. During January and February, while performers are auditioning and polishing their acts, only club members will be singing. However, SCW residents and their invited guests may come and listen for free. BYOB, and cups and ice are provided.
Membership is $10 yearly and open to SCW residents. Members pay $2 to sing.
There will be no karaoke on Jan. 29.
