SCOTTSDALE - Anna 'Louisa' Campbell passed away peacefully among family in Cumming, GA on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Born June 3, 1922, Louisa grew up in Watertown, MA with her parents Dr. Frederick Christopher, DDS and Mary Christopher (MacDonald). Following her marriage to John Frederic (Fred) Campbell in 1947, and the birth of her two children, Louisa lived in multiple locations around the U.S. including New Canaan, CT, Wayland, MA, Stamford, CT, Vero Beach, FL, and Scottsdale, AZ. Graduating with a degree in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston, Louisa began her library career working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and later served as Head Librarian for the Wayland, MA, and the Fairfield, CT public libraries. She completed her career at the Stamford, CT Public Library as the Head Reference Librarian. Louisa is survived by her son, Donald Frederic Campbell, his wife Mary Lynne Campbell and their daughter Lindsey Nicole Campbell of Alpharetta, GA. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Fred, who passed away in 2000 in Vero Beach, FL, and her daughter Nancy Louisa Campbell who passed away in Scottsdale, AZ in 2014 at the age of 65. A mass in Louisa's honor will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Lane, Vero Beach FL at 10:00 AM, on Monday, August 10, 2015. A graveside ceremony will be held following the Mass at the Crestlawn Cemetery, 1216 14th Street, Vero Beach, FL.
