Ann M. Kelly

Ann M. Kelly, 87 Ann M. Kelly, 87 of Wabasso, Minn., passed away Nov. 10, 2007 in Minnesota. She was born Dec. 1, 1919 in Middletown, Conn. to Mario and Josephine (Milardo) Damiata. She was raised in an Italian neighborhood. Her family spoke Italian at home, so she learned to speak English in school. She graduated from Middletown High School and met Charles W. Kelly while he was stationed in Middletown during his time in the Navy. On July 27, 1943, they were united in marriage at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Middletown. The couple settled in Wabasso, Minn. in 1950 to work in the town pharmacy. Together they operated the pharmacy until 1990 when they retired. The couple wintered in Apache Junction. Mr. Kelly passed away Feb. 10, 2000. Mrs. Kelly continued living in Wabasso until the time of her passing. She was a supportive member of the community and an active, devoted member of St. Anne�s Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was very active and enjoyed dancing, fishing, golfing, shopping, painting and gardening. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards and games, crossword puzzles and watching films. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her children Patrick, Cheryl (Dennis) McChesney, Nancy (Stanley) Agrimson, Denny (Kathy), Mickey (Colette) and Sharon (Rick Freed) Kelly; grandchildren Justin Zerr, Darrin Zerr, Bridget Kelly, Dylan Kelly, Gahn Kelly, Dominic Kelly, Anthony Kelly and Joseph Kelly; sister Rose Damiata of Middletown, Conn.; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Charles W. and four siblings. Mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 17, 2007.
