Ann Elizabeth Steinberger, Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Eaton Rapids, Michigan went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2017 at the age of 75 where she was surrounded by her family. Her cancer diagnosis didn't slow her down or diminish her positive attitude. Ann was the oldest daughter of Gilbert and Margaret (Frazier) Niesse born on November 5, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her family settled in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1949. Ann met Joseph Thomas Steinberger and married on May 18, 1963. He loved to take her to Purdue football games, while she enjoyed the dinner and dancing dates they shared.In 1969 they moved to Decatur, Illinois with their four daughters. Ten years later they relocated to Lansing, Michigan. Ann and Joe shared their life together for 51 years until his passing in 2014. Ann had a passion and talent for decorating. She was an interior designer for over 40 years and had many loyal clients. Ann loved fashion and was always stylish from her modeling days until her final days. She enjoyed being with her friends, hosting dinner parties and telling entertaining stories. Ann was a devout Catholic with strong faith. Her compassion for people was evident in the way she helped many others.After living in Michigan for 36 years, Ann moved to Arizona in 2015 to enjoy the sun, swimming, bowling, shopping and singing in the choir. She loved traveling and enjoyed one last trip with her sister to Disney World the week before her passing.Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and sister, Maurine. She is survived and loved by her four daughters: Anna Reesor, Brenda Steinberger Wood, Michelle (Jeff) Haarer, Maureen Lenon and eight grandchildren: Brittany (Brent), Eve, Paige, Abbie, Meg, Joe, Brandon and Brianna; and her sister Tish (Tony) Iwaszuk. A memorial service will be held in Eaton Rapids, Michigan at a later date.
