Angry Crab Shack raised $100,000 during its annual “You Dine, We Donate” initiative for the Arizona Housing Coalition’s Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance.
This amount is a record for money raised during this campaign season, according to a press release.
On Veterans Day, Angry Crab Shack will present a check for $100,000 to the Arizona Housing Coalition. Money raised will provide clothing, hot meals, haircuts, hygiene items and a variety of other services for veterans experiencing homelessness.
“We would like to thank the community for helping us to better the lives of those who have protected us and our country,” Andy Diamond, Angry Crab Shack president, stated. “We look forward to continue our partnership with the Arizona Housing Coalition for years to come.”
Valley Angry Crab Shack locations include Phoenix, Goodyear, Mesa, Peoria, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Surprise and Tempe.
Over the past seven years, Angry Crab Shack’s partnership with the Arizona Housing Coalition has amounted to more than $350,000.
AVSA is a program of the Arizona Housing Coalition that hosts annual events and resource fairs in 13 of Arizona’s 15 counties. These events allow veterans and their families who are experiencing housing instability and homelessness to get and stay connected to supportive services.
The 8th Annual “You Dine We Donate” initiative will return next July.
