Angelina Barbara

Maiolo-Attilio, 87 SUN CITY WEST - Angelina, 87, passed away on April 20, 2015. Angie was born on March 23, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter J. Attilio; and her son, Mario J. Attilio, Sr. She is survived by her grandsons, Mario J. Attilio, Jr. (Kathleen) and Nicholas J. Attilio (Janelle); her great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Emily, Dominick and Jackson; her daughter-in-law, Diane; and many other loving family members and friends. Angie retired from General Motors in 1983. She moved from Michigan to Arizona in 1998 to be with her family. Upon moving to Sun City West, she immediately began volunteering at the Sundome and put in many hours there. She was also a member of the Italian Club. Angie cherished the time she spent with family and friends playing cards, rolling the dice at Yahtzee, meeting for coffee, spending time chatting on the phone, going on weekly shopping trips, movies, going out to lunch and getting together for family dinners. A wonderful reminder from Angie that she left for her family and friends was "to love one another ... life is a gift. There is no guarantee of a tomorrow, so enjoy and share each day to the fullest." A memorial service will be held on May 9, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Parish,19002 N. 128th Avenue in Sun City West, Arizona.
