Andrews: Blames Obama for police critics

Re: Your Daily Independent Article on “Phoenix police keep tabs on social media, but who keeps tabs on cops?” I could not believe that cops are now being faulted for using “public” information on social media as part of their important work to protect law-abiding citizens.

Of course we know that open season on cops really started with former President Obama and it continues unabated today.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. strongly criticized what he called the “black lies matter” movement and stressed that President Barack Obama himself had “started this war on police.”

I hope our law-enforcement folks continue to use all legal surveillance tools to look for criminal activity including seeking out potentially dangerous whackos.

Thank God we still have folks willing to serve in law enforcement.
